This website is dedicated to our climbing expedition to Mount Baruntse in Nepal. The expedition took place in Autumn 2009. Of the three expedition members one reached the summit. Antonio sumitted on 22 October around 1 pm accompanied by Ngima and Renjen Sherpa. The other 2 members, Otto and Marja, did not complete the trekking to Baruntse Base Camp because Otto suffered from breathing problems. They abandoned the expedition after 2 weeks of trekking just above Makalu Base Camp at 5200 meters.

This website provides valuable information for anyone who wants to climb Baruntse, trek to Makalu BC and/or cross the Sherpani Col, West Col or Amphu Lapcha pas.

Please use the tabs above and below to navigate through the pages. The Report page is a full report of our expedition.

Interested in our previous expeditions? In 2004 Antonio summitted Aconcagua and in 2005 Marja and Otto summitted Elbrus.
